Antalya Aquarium The Real Deal or Just a Fish Tank Honest Review

Hi guys If you are melting in the Antalya heat or the kids are driving you up the wall at the hotel listen up I popped into the Antalya Aquarium at Konyaaltı Beach to see if it is worth your holiday cash Spoiler alert It is absolutely bonkers in a good way, It is not just looking at fish it is like a full on adventure park under a roof Here is the lowdown

First off you start underwater They have got one of the worlds longest tunnels 131 meters It is actually quite relaxing watching the rays and sharks gliding over your head while you stay dry Great for cooling down from the sun

This is the weirdest part You step out of the Mediterranean heat and straight into Snow World They give you a big winter coat trust me you will need it and you can literally slide on ice and build a snowman while it is 35 degrees outside It is a total head spinner but the kids absolutely love it

If you are not frozen solid there is a Tropical Reptile bit with colourful frogs and lizards Then weirdly enough there is a Wax Museum You can grab a selfie with Einstein or Spiderman It is a bit random but good fun for a laugh and a photo op

The aquarium is located right at the start of Konyaaltı Beach at Arapsuyu Mahallesi Dumlupınar Bulvarı No 502

Now you have two options to get there

Option 1 Do It Yourself You can grab a yellow taxi If you are coming from Lara or Belek be warned taxis can be pricey these days A return trip might cost you more than the entrance ticket itself Plus finding parking in high summer is honestly a bit of a nightmare

Option 2 The Stress Free Way This is where we come in We offer a door to door service We pick you up from your hotel in a cool air conditioned bus take you straight to the entrance and drop you back afterwards No haggling with taxi drivers no looking for parking spaces

WARNING Time Management Do not think you can blitz this in an hour With the Snow World the Reptiles and the 4D Cinema you need at least 3 to 4 hours to do it properly Do not rush it

TOP TIP The Shoes If you are going into Snow World remember you are probably wearing flip flops sliders It gets chilly on the toes Maybe pack a pair of socks if you plan to stay in the snow bit for long

Ticket Smarts Do not wait in the queue in the roasting sun It is a nightmare Sort your tickets before you go

Look you can turn up at the gate and pay full whack plus the taxi fare or you can be smart about it and save your holiday money for an extra beer
